Dominique Todd is a Kent State alumni who graduated in 2015 with a dual degree in Fashion Merchandising and Public Relations. She is currently working as an Assistant Buyer at a plus size brand, Catherine's. She plays a vital role in the development and execution of merchandise strategy. In addition to her position at Catherine's, she is also the owner of Generation+.
Generation+ is a social enterprise, launching in the Fall. The goal of Generation+ is to create a supportive community for local plus-size women looking to connect with their peers through on-going programs and events. Most events similar are on the East or West coasts but Generation+ hopes to make them accessible in the Midwest. The goal of these events are to empower, motivate, and educate the audience.
Generation+ aims to be the go-to place for a new generation of fat girls with a bold attitude. With hopes to end fat shaming and change the narrative of the word "fat"; Generation+ is beginning to canvas their audience to understand what type of events and programming the community would love to see executed.
